Finance) Posted: 26 Mar 2010 06:00 AM PDT NEW YORK (AP) -- Chinese hotel chain China Lodging Group Ltd. priced 9 million American Depository Shares at $12.25 apiece Friday, at the top of its expected range, raising $110.3 million. The company had hoped to price the initial public offering between $10.25 and $12.25. Each ADS represents four ordinary shares. China Lodging operates HanTing economy hotels in China. It has said proceeds from the IPO will be used to expand its hotel network and for general corporate purposes. As of Dec. 31, the company had 236 hotels and 28,360 rooms in 39 cities across China.
