Chatham Lodging raises $150 million in IPO Posted: 16 Apr 2010 04:25 AM PDT NEW YORK (AP) -- Chatham Lodging Trust priced 7.5 million shares of its initial public offering at $20 each, raising $150 million, the real estate investment trust said late Thursday. Underwriters led by Barclays Capital and FBR Capital Markets may purchase another 1.1 million shares, bringing the total raised to $172.5 million. The Palm Beach, Fla., company, which was formed to invest in hotels, plans to use about half of the net IPO proceeds, $73.5 million, to buy six Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotels.
